HOW DID YOU GET STARTED IN FACE AND/OR BODY PAINTING?
I have always been an artist at heart. In high school, getting absorbed into my projects was my main focus. Now as a mother of three, I found that my little girl absolutely loved getting her face painted at zoo'z and parks. I just thought to myself, "Hey I would like to give that a try!" After being asked to help out at church event simply because the lady heading it up knew I loved to draw, I was hooked! I had to find out what products were out there, designs, all things face and body paint, I needed to know. 2 and a half years later, I am still learning so much every day and loving it. Never before have I enjoyed any other avenue in the art world as this.
WHAT DID YOU DO BEFORE THAT?
I used to have a singing and songwriting ministry for several years that flowed into a prison ministry with my husband. I have also been married for almost 21 yrs and am a mother of 3. Two boys and a girl.
WHAT DO YOU NOW BESIDES FACE AND/OR BODY PAINTING?
Taking care of my family is my biggest job, other than that, it's face painting and more face painting.

HOW DID YOU GET STARTED?
Way back in 1996 when I was an Entertainments Manager for a well know UK holiday company but only briefly. I didn't really begin to dabble properly with paints until 2007 when a friend persuaded me to paint at a charity event for which I practised a lot. At the event someone asked me to paint at their childs upcoming party so I practised more and everything has kind of snowballed from there!
WHAT DID YOU DO BEFORE THAT?
After having a family I spent 8 years working in stock control for Tesco.
WHAT DO YOU NOW BESIDES FACE AND/OR BODY PAINTING?
I work at a Junior School as a first aider and also supervise a nuture group of children at lunchtimes who have social problems.
WHAT PAINT BRANDS ARE YOUR FAVORITES? WHY?
I have loads of brands in my kit. I seem to have an ever growing collection of TAG one strokes, these are just brilliant for being able to creat lovely but fast designs on busy jobs so I never go out without them now! I love Stargazer glitter which I decant into puffer bottles and have lots of different colours of that. At the moment I think my overall favourite paint in my kit is the TAG pearl lilac, I would recommend every painter has this in their kit, its perfect for so many faces!
WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE THING TO PAINT?
Tigers! I never seem to get bored of painting them and often tweak them to suit the model. They always get a fantastic response once completed aswell!
I've done jobs for national newspapers, spent a week on a Ferry painting, painted at themed weddings, had my work shown briefly on the BBC news plusmet a few celebs on my travels! This year I also finally plucked up the courage to take my FACE Test and noone was more surprised than me that I passed!

WHAT PAINT BRANDS ARE YOUR FAVORITES? WHY?
I love using Wolfe in all colors for their intensity and DFX also. However, I am stocked up on Snazaroo because I love using it on children. Nothing like that Snaz red for a good Spidey!
WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE THING TO PAINT?
My favorite thing to paint is nothing at all. What??? I mean, I love to just do abstract designs or what ever I might see in my mind that particular moment. They don't have to look like anything just cool designs.
